The winter is long in New Hampshire, but the moment spring rolls around and the days grow warmer, you'll want to be outside in your new landscape. Those in the suburbs of Concord and Manchester may find a heated gazebo or screened in dining area offer plenty of time in the garden even when the days are still nippy. Add a ceiling fan to keep the air moving during the humid days of summer when it's too hot to cook indoors.

When the leaves change in the vast northern forests of woodsy Laconia and Gilford, enjoy them in the golden sunset light from the comfort of your outdoor stone fireplace. Where views of Lake Winnipesaukee are possible, extend your enjoyment with an expansive wood deck to wrap around view homes or positioned to access just a narrow glimpse of the city lights or water. If you're a sportsman, consider upgrading your grill or adding a smoker to prepare your fish during the summer and game in the fall.

There are so many public gardens in New Hampshire that you'll find plenty of inspiration all over the state. Among these is fabulous Kirkwood Gardens in nearby Holderness where you'll find some lovely new hardscape inspiration as well as acres of beautiful trees, shrubs and perennials that you know thrive in New Hampshire.

Along the state's southern border with Massachusetts, your older home in Nashua or Keen may need a landscape makeover to provide great opportunities for outdoor entertaining, dining or just a place to relax after a long day at the office. With a well trained local designer you'll be set to lay out a landscape perfectly tailored to your individual tastes and needs. Whether you're a large family that needs room to spread out or empty nesters rethinking the older family home, a new landscape can improve everyday life in more ways than you'd ever imagine. Beautiful blooming plants, a swath of lawn with an organic food garden and orchard, each of these contribute usefulness and beauty to raise your home's overall value, or help it to sell quickly in the future.
