Table Tennis, or ping pong, can be played outdoors with a table that is made specifically for outdoor use. The table size is 9 feet by 5 feet. You will want to place it on a flat surface, such as a concrete patio. The playing area should be about 28 feet by 14 feet to allow for players to move around. Of course, you may want to build the patio near a lawn area for those few times you may need to chase the ping pong ball.
